In 1994, Rockwood set up the first branch in China and up to 2006 we have more than 20 branches and around 500 staff.
To meet the rapid growth of trade development in China, since 2002 Rockwood has set up Rockwood Int'l Freight (China) Co., Ltd, Rockwood Int'l Logistics Co., Ltd, Super Rockwood(Tianjin) Int'l Logistics Development Co.,Ltd, Leshan Rockwood Shipping Co., Ltd, forming the Rockwood Group. Rockwood Group has developed a series of service solutions to be more effectively providing professional advice and one-stop service to attain cost minimization for each client. Rockwood Group had been involved in break-bulk cargo for a long time already before well-established European Port-handling companies, such as BLG joined in these year, which arose our breakthrough in general and break-bulk cargo handling. From 2000 on, Rockwood played important roles in transportation of equipment for giant electric-energy projects, steel manufacture and machinery industry. All our handling and close arrangements for projects are highly appreciated.

Rockwood Group engages itself in automobile RO-RO shipment in recent years and establishes long steady co-operation with worldwide RO-RO shipping lines. We do a lot of businesses with Chinese main heavy truck exporters, such as North Benz, Shaanxi Automobile, Foton Automobile, Irizar, Great Wall Pick Up and so on. BLG, one of our overseas agents, is the logistics service supplier of German famous car companies: Bens, Volkswagen, BMW and so on. We work with them in respect of technology and provide additional service of SKD/CKD/ spare parts in supply chain and develop greatly our automobile logistics services.
